Pubblicato il 27 marzo, Murder most foul è il nuovo singolo dell’internazionale Bob Dylan. Sono già centinaia di migliaia le visualizzazioni della canzone su YouTube a distanza di poche ore dalla pubblicazione dell’inedito, il cui titolo significa “Assassinio più folle”. Sulla copertina, infatti, è in primo piano la foto del 35° Presidente degli Stati Uniti d’America John Fitzgerald Kennedy, ucciso nel novembre 1963, omicidio che viene narrato fin dalla prima strofa.
Della canzone colpisce anche la durata del brano, molto differente da quelle che siamo soliti ascoltare. Dura infatti quasi 17 minuti e si articola in 5 lunghe strofe, in cui nelle ultime vengono citati innumerevoli artisti e canzoni, tra cui, proprio in coda all’elenco, anche questa di Bob Dylan.
